Rian L. Moses is what she was searching for as a kid; a whimsical black female artist that loves the sea, bright colors, and fantasy. Below the water’s surface, one can find many other worldly forms. These designs inspire Rian and are used in her work, because they can be viewed as something entirely different to the observer. Rian enjoys drawing with fine line pens, painting with acrylics and watercolor, collage, and using the computer to create art. She has brought her talents to HearRVA @hearRVA, a music platform she co-owns, encouraging fans to love the music coming fromt heir own city and help make it global. She also has used her artwork for activism and co-created Richmond Now! @richomondnow2020, a free coloring activity book series that highlights Richmond’s community groups that are continuously doing the hard work to help the area’s minority populations succeed.
